87′ Doggersbank Explorer Yacht Sold by Andrew Troyer – Troyer Yachts
The 87’ (26.51m) Doggersbank pocket explorer yacht SIENNA has been leased/sold in an in-house deal with Andrew Troyer of Troyer Yachts representing both the seller and the buyer. This stunning yacht was built with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, designed by Vripack, and constructed by Kuipers Woudsend in the Netherlands. SIENNA has undergone several refits over the years, including an updated interior design by Vripack, MAN engine rebuilds, extension, and the addition of stabilizers.
Troyer describes SIENNA as an “elegant, capable, and muscular” yacht. The salon offers a range of impressive features, such as hardwood flooring, a bar area with stools, a high gloss dining or cocktail table with an L-shaped sofa for relaxation, and wine storage.
SIENNA can accommodate up to eight guests in three cabins, including a full-beam king aft master cabin, a cabin with twin beds, and a cabin with over-under berths. The yacht also has a crew of three, with two forward cabins and a crew lounge.
The aft deck spaces of SIENNA offer a range of amenities, including a high gloss table for al fresco dining, built-in aft seating, a cockpit for diving, fishing, and boarding, and a spacious swim platform.
On the boat deck, you find a teak dining table for eight people, built-in padded seating for entertaining, a gypsy awning, a BBQ area, twin davits with storage space for the tender, and a flybridge with a bar and built-in guest seating area.
SIENNA is equipped with twin MAN engines that provide a comfortable cruise speed of 10 knots and a maximum speed of 13 knots.
The name “Doggersbank” was inspired by a large sandbank in the shallow area of the North Sea. The concept of the Doggersbank offshore was introduced in 1968 by Dick Boon, the founder of the Netherlands-based design house Vripack. Since its inception, the Doggersbank offshore has become synonymous with explorer yachting. These yachts are characterized by their high bow, spacious interior volume, ample tankage for long voyages, steel hull, and aluminum superstructure. Doggersbank yachts proudly represent Dutch quality, precision naval architecture, and a rich maritime heritage rooted in the Netherlands.
Special thanks to Ann Barlow of Luke Brown, Scott Levin of HMY Yachts, Andy Miles of Miles Yacht Group, and Whit Kirkland of Northrop & Johnson, for bringing potential buyers to SEINNA.
