The journey to CHARLOTTE LAINE began shortly after the Palm Beach International Boat Show. Andrew Troyer, representing the buyer based in Georgia and Florida, wasted no time. He and his client flew to Atlantic City and then made their way to Viking Yachts in New Gretna, NJ.
Despite the cold, rainy March weather, spirits were high as the team boarded the Contender for a sea trial. Powered by triple Mercury Verado 400XL engines, the vessel didn’t disappoint—soaring past 65 mph with smooth handling and unwavering stability. It was clear: CHARLOTTE LAINE had more than just looks—she had muscle and grace.
Wrapping Up a Successful Day
After a successful day on the water, the team celebrated at Dock’s Oyster House—a legendary Atlantic City staple since 1897. A meal of fresh oysters, steamed clams in a savory broth, hearty Maine chowder, and perfectly cooked flounder made for a fitting close to a milestone day.
